New Facsimile Etchings
On
Wednesday 7th May 2008 two new Norman Lindsay Facsimile Etchings
are due for release.
Dance, Puppet, Dance is
a perfect partner for the currently available 'Which
Mask' and is being
released at only
$297. The original etching
was produced in 1933 and the puppet appearing in the work is a
caricature of Norman. The original etching was limited to only
10 copies so it is very rare and is sure to make this facsimile
popular. Dance, Puppet, Dance measures 14.4 x 11.6 cm.
Charles is the second
of the new releases and one we expect to sell out quickly. While
we can never guarantee increases in value, based on the success
of the similarly styled 'The
Eighties'
we would
expect to this etching to do well in terms of upward revaluations.
The original Charles etching was a drypoint etching in 1926 and
was in an edition of 38. It measures 26.5 x 31.8cm and is being
released at $396
