About Norman Lindsay's Etchings Norman Lindsay's etching skills ranks amongst the worlds masters in terms of skill and imagination. Wife his wife, Rose, as the printer he produced a total of 200 published and a further 175 unpublished etchings dating from 1897. The maximum edition for any one etching was 55 but many failed to reach this number. With original etchings becoming more scarce and expensive, and at the same time art enthusiasts demanding his work, in 1974 the first certified facsimiles were offered for sale. The facsimiles are produced under strict copyright conditions and all contain an embossed seal in the lower right hand corner. All materials used in the produced of both originals and facsimiles are destroyed at the end of the printing process.
All facsimiles should contain the above seal of authenticity and all works should be accompanied by a recognised Certificate of Authenticity. |

Authenticity is guaranteed by an embossed seal in the lower right hand corner of the image and all works are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Each image is individually hand-numbered and once an edition has sold out, it is never re-released.
The Curtain is reproduced in full colour on 250gsm Parilux and Rita of the Eighties, City of Joy, Languor and Court to Peacocks are reproduced in full colour on 300gsm Parilux. The archival quality Parilux paper used for the Limited Edition Paintings is totally acid, dioxin and chlorine free. All original printing materials used for the Limited Edition Paintings have been destroyed and the metal plates used in the printing process have first been cancelled and then destroyed.
